I bought my son his own 360 so i could have mine back, can i transfer just the licenses of his games to the new console without doing mine as well? I know it used to take actually redownloading them to change it but its changed since i last did a transfer

Even the ones I buy after the initial transfer? I cant transfer for a few more months but will a game I bought after that work on the console? Like do I have to transfer everytime I get new stuff?

It includes all purchases on the account you license transferred on.

License transfers will only transfer the licenses for the account you're signed into. So as long as he has had his own account and the games were purchased on his account, it will only transfer his licenses. If he was using your account, it would not be
possible to transfer only those licenses. A license transfer does not let you pick and choose which licenses to transfer.

A license transfer won't get you banned. The system is set up for license transfers. If they were transferring licenses between profiles that could get you banned.

The transfer of licenses doesn't expire, there's the time limit between transfers that applies, but unless you plan on using another console in the near future, then that shouldn't matter for your case.

In order for everybody on the new console to have access to games purchased by the other profiles on it (like with the old one), each profile will need to do a License Transfer. This is because when you purchase a game/app/dlc, etc., you get two types of
licenses. One is for the profile that purchased it, and allows that profile access to the content on any console. The other is for the console that the item was purchased on, which allows the entire family share content that one person has purchased. This
is the license that transfers to the new console when you perform a license transfer.

pretty sure what you are doing or attempting to do is against the rules. license transfers are only for those who bought a new console and want to transfer the license from the old console to the new one nothing more/nothing less.
