License Transfer

Hi Microsoft/Whoever is reading this.

My account was stolen not so long ago and the person license transferred.

I have now switched to a new Xbox because my old one got broken, and I do not have a license transfer, which I desperately need to download my games.

I was wondering if I could receive a new license transfer so that I can play my games on my new Xbox.

This. It's $5 a month or $30 for a year and you get BF4 plus other EA games and discounts on their digital content.

Hi there,

a license transfer is to transfer the licenses from one console to another console.

So if you still have access to the account that purchased the games, you should be able to download those games via the download history on that account and use them with that account. If you want to use the games via other profiles as well then you need
the license transfer and like advises contact Xbox Support to see what the possibilities for your situation.

License transfers will only transfer licenses between consoles. There is no way to transfer licenses between accounts.

The licenses are tied to the console so using the same hard drive would not transfer the licenses and licenses cannot be transferred via transfer cable. The only way to transfer licenses is through a licence transfer over Live.
