    License Transfer Help Please!


    Ok so i just bought a new console because i had so many problems with my old one so i took the hard drive and and put it in the new one. I played all my disk games just fine with the dlc but i tried to play GTAV and it says it cant read the disk. The thing
    is i downloaded when my other console broke so i read up and it said i need a license transfer. so I went to account then clicked on liswnse transfer and it said it was sucsefful and gave me a list of things i didnt now if i had to switch all of them or if
    it was the list of things i switched and could edit, so i backed out and then it was locked and i cant do a license transfer for 4 months and i didnt transfer anything. i didnt notice this right away the next day after the transfer i though everything was
    fine because i was not having problem but all my downloaded games dont play and my arcade games say they are trials is there anything i can do or do i have to wait the 4 months? bb

    all right, so I got a new xbox like a day ago. I wanted to download my cod black ops maps from my old console so i did the licence transfer and it worked. BUT I can only play the maps on the account that I downloaded them on and I relly Wanna Play with
    my friends on my new GOLD account because my old one has been silver for a while.... Help I'm streesed and don't know what to do!!!!! License Transfer Help Please! :(

    license transfer confusion PLEASE HELP!

    Do the license transfer for the old account to your new console then redownload all the map packs. Once that is complete you'll have full access to the packs for everyone on that console.

    If you contact customer support they can do whats called a manual Licence for you. Just tell them what has happened and they'll do it for you. Now it can take up to 72 hours sometime but they can do it.

    You've done your license transfer to the new console but there is one other step that you must do to make it complete. You must redownload all your DLC. There is no need to delete them first, just head to your Download History and select each item. It
    will move the licenses to the new console for you and allow you to continue playing without issue.

    You can access your download history on the console by going to Settings>Accounts>Download History

    If you were able to download your profile to the console you bought, you can check to your download history and you will see this game that you are talking here and has a problem with. Click that game and then re-download it. That re-downloading will be
    able to download the Game License as well. Then delete the old game and launch the new game re-downloaded to the console.

    For sure this would help your problem.

    If you were able to download your profile to the console you bought, you can check to your download history and you will see this game that you are talking here and has a problem with. Click that game and then re-download it. That re-downloading will be

    Hi, have you used the license transfer tool to migrate all of your licenses to your new hard drive yet?

    You can find the instructions to do so here:
    support.xbox.com/.../download-content


    But basically, you'll want to sign in on your console with your gamertag, go to system settings, and then account. Go to "Your Billing Options", select license transfer, follow the instructions it gives you on the xbox, and then download all the content
    again once the license transfer process has completed.

    Please note that you can only transfer licenses once every 90 days, so please keep this in mind when performing a license transfer.
