License transfer for games.

So, to be short and to the point, I had used my dad's xbox live account when I was living at home. I've purchased a few games on his account, but recently have gotten my own xbox and my own gold account.

Now, is there any possible way to be able to share a license between two consoles? Or transfer rights to certain games?

I really don't want to just transfer the license, because that would render some of his games unplayable on some of the accounts on his xbox...but I'm stuck not being able to play the games I've bought unless I'm signed into his account on live..and I just
can't be signed into his account all of the time.

Is there anything I can do? Or am I just out of luck?

A license transfer will transfer the licenses for all of your games.

License transfers will transfer licenses for all of your games. There is no way to transfer just one license. So if you use the transfer tool again, it will move your Rockband licenses as well.

 

Sorry to hear it. I'm afraid that you're going to have to repurchase the content again on your gamertag. I wouldn't recommend transferring the licenses to your console as that could be considered Marketplace Theft which is against the ToU and CoC of the
Live service and could result in an enforcement action against both the accounts and/or consoles.
