License Transfer Didn't Work!

Hi,

I've contacted xbox support TWICE about this issue and both times they couldn't help me.

I bought a new xbox 360. I downloaded my account and my partner's account onto it. I did a license transfer from my old xbox. Then, I downloaded all the games onto my new xbox. This is where the problem starts... All the games were bought digitally on my
PARTNER's account, so he is able to play the games without problem. But if I try to play them from my account, it won't let me. "Can't launch ________" it says.

On our old xbox, we did not have this problem. Both of us could access the games freely.

Why hasn't the license transfer worked? I'd like to be able to play the games we bought together on our new xbox.

Xbox won't recognise previously downloaded content on another console

I tried that but it didn't work, should I transfer license? Would that work?

Did the account that originally purchase the content do the license transfer or just your account. The licenses are tied to the purchasing gamertag. If there were games that you had purchased, you would sign in to your account and do the transfer, If
there are games that he had purchased, you would have to be signed in to his account and do the transfer.

 

I was signed into his account to do the transfer, since all our games were purchased on his.

 

I would recommend checking to see if you can do the license transfer again. Even if you cannot try redownloading one of the games again (no need to delete them first). If you still cannot play them then perhaps the license transfer didn't work.
