License transfer after replacement console

Hi,

Today I received my replacement Xbox One console after sending it in for a loud fan noise. On my old conole I purchased both Forza 5 and Peggle 2 with my Xbox Live account, and my girlfriend was able to play for example Peggle 2 on her account. Now, when
she tries to start Peggle 2, it asks for the game disc and won't start the game. I assume this is because the license is still tied to the old console and not this new one. Is there any way to transfer those licenses like there was for Xbox 360?

License transfer all content?

In the moment you perform a license transfer from a console to another the first console loses the right of license regarding the transferred content. You can perform the transfer license back after four months

 

Having an issue playing some downloaded games on my 360, now that im not connected to WI-FI

You would need to perform a license transfer in order to transfer your console licenses to the new console. After the transfer, you will need to redo load the games, but it will only be downloading the licenses, not the full games, so it does go pretty quickly.

Ah, should have looked a little harder. I solved it by setting the Xbox as "My home Xbox" in the settings menu.

 

If i exchange my console can i redownload forza 5 on it

Yes you will be able to. As Slurp mentioned above you just need to go into your Settings and make sure your new Xbox One console is set as your "My Home Xbox". The game should then show on your My Games & Apps section on the far right. It will be transparent
with a cloud icon letting you know it is available to install.
