    My gamertag is I bought 3 games a few days ago dark souls 3, battleborn deluxe edition, shadow of mordor game of the year edition. Xbox live support says I didn't get the license for any of those games please fix.

    problem with the Xbox 360

    A license transfer will transfer the licenses for all of your games.

    Here is why you should care about the used disc policy.

    And again, the license argument doesn't hold up. eBay alone shoots the license argument out of the sky. The license in video games is a license to the characters and worlds in the game, not the software itself. Ever hear of a "licensed videogame?" Those
    tend to be awful games based on movies and the "license" is for the use of the characters in the movie. The actual disc you take home is "copyrighted" material so yes, doctrine of first sale applies.

    As GrimStreaker said, most downloaded content will not work offline on a different console and you will need to transfer the license.
