    license needs to be refreshed


    I want Microsoft Solitaire Collection the Premium addition with no ads for a year. I have followed the instructions to uninstall my version and then re-download the app from the Microsoft Store. I still cannot purchase the Premium addition. How do I refresh
    my license to make in-app purchases ?

    DLC on multiple accounts

    It should have done it but I guess they have changed the process. Perhaps the license now needs to be refreshed on the old console as well in order to deactivate it.

    transferring licenses to new console...got the uh-oh, that shouldn't have happened screen

    The only way to check that would be to download something again, say an arcade game, so that the license is refreshed and then try to play it offline. If it works then you know the license transfer went though okay.

    Re-downloads are very quick as it only really needs to refresh the license.

    Problem With Licenses

    In this case, the "bots" are right. You need to do a license transfer (and be sure to re-download items to refresh the license): www.xbox.com/drm

    Did you set those items to download again after doing the license transfer? This is often needed in order to refresh the license on the console. Since the items are on your hard drive already, all that will get grabbed is the license file needed for offline
    play.

    You need to take the time to read that DRM page properly. You have to be connected to LIVE during the transfer for it to know where to send the licenses to. You may also need to be connected to LIVE to redownload the content to refresh the licenses.

    After transferring the content, you need to re-download it in order to refresh the licenses. It will only take a very short time as it will only download the updated license information.
