licence transfer

ok so i set my friends account as my home xbox so i can download black ops 3 off of him and its been working fine for the past 4 days but today when i tried to run black ops it says i need to go on the account i bought it on, so when i went to check if his
account was still my homr xbox account it said "your home xbox settings cannot be changed until we connect to the service." ive tried everything that people have been suggesting such as changing my parental setting, hard resets, cahnging settings on xbox.com
but non of them seen to be working. can someone plz get back to me soon

Transfer data question.

Hi, to transfer content licences associated with your console you must sign in to the console with the profile used to purchase the content. Once signed in go to Settings > account > billing options and select licence transfer following the on screen instructions to transfer the licences to the new console so other profiles can use the content. Content can not be transfered across profiles only across consoles - hope this helps

Using the Home Xbox system out of it's intended use of "in a home environment" is in violation of the CoC

Use your account to trade services or in-game content for memberships, games, gift cards, account credit, or content

Resell or redistribute any part of Xbox Live

Impersonate another person (e.g., Microsoft staff, moderators, employees of game developers, publishers, or other Xbox partners)

I have a question on this. What if you and your spouse have 2 xboxs, obviously in the same house. Could you game share then, and play at the same time? I have friends in this situation, and they say since the new xbox update, its not working, but others
who are doing this say it is (who are NOT in the same house).

It's meant to be used for your own Home console. So since that would be in your household it would be okay.

You can transfer content licences from one console to another once every four months.

If your console was recently repaired, or if you’ve purchased a new console, use the licence transfer option on your console to transfer content licences. Here’s how:

On your console, sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.
Go to the Settings and then select Account.
Go to Your Billing Options, and then select Licence Transfer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to transfer the content licences.

After the licences have been transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licences. This way the content can be used by other profiles on your console and when you’re not connected to Xbox Live.

Don't forget though that doing the Licence Transfer as stated above that will transfer ALL game licences tied to that account.
