    An error, a friend handed me the license DLC The Taken King and my game console does not recognize and therefore does not let me play the DLC

    A licence is not available for this content. The licence is missing, expired, corrupted, or does not belong to the current gamertag.

    HERE is some info on your error code.

    Forza Horizon - Disc unreadable

    I cannot transfer the licences to my Room Xbox 360 as i have just last week moved my licences to my Lounge Xbox 360 and am having the same trouble as the people above. Should i ring Microsoft Support?

    Licence error xbox 360

    You will need to purchase the game if you want to play it. Bungie does not allow gamesharing on that game.

    Also, license transfers are not meant to be used to share games like that. You're putting yourself and your friend at risk for being banned for marketplace theft.

    Xbox 360 License transfer no longer works

    Snap, I just tried to do a licence transfer to preserve my digital xbox 360 games and I get the error as its no longer supported. :/ These games that are not xbox one/series x backwards compatable are going to be gone forever once my original white xbox dies. The dvd drive is dead already. No warnign was given that licence transfers were going to be removed. whats next? a silent removal of the 360 servers.

    Orginal Xbox BC for the 360 ended around 2010.

    As for the Xbox One, the problem is a licence based one. Nightfire is based on the 007 James Bond Licence, which at time of release was owned by EA Games. When EA licence ran out it was purchased by Activision. EA can't give the go ahead for this game
    as they no longer hold the licence.

    So, even if BC was still supported on the 360, this game couldn't be released again anyway. That's the way it is.
