    Just thought I'd let people know that lg has released a firmware update for dolby vision it's not available OTA yet but you can grab it off the support site enables dolby vision at 120hz if your display is capable

    DOLBY VISION TV LG OLED 2016

    Hi, that would be up to the Tv manufacturer to provide a firmware update for the Tv.

    As the Xbox uses what could be called a none standard version of dolby vision, until the Tv manufacturer pushes that firmware update you won’t have much luck.

    It is unlikely that LG will bother with Tv’s from 2016 though.

    I am a little bit confused. Dolby digital is an audio format, dolby vision is the HDR standard. Before I can give advice I just want to make sure I am advising on the right thing?

    I'd start with a firmware check on your TV. I know dolby vision has some issues at launch on my LG.

    Dolby Vision on my TV

    Xbox has updated to a "low latency" version of dolby vision causing issues with most TV's. I have the same issue with my 2018 Vizio P Series.

    Once Xbox/MSFT does another update for the Dolby Vision they currently have in use it should support more TV's. There is not garuntee that all TV's will be compatible with 4k Dolby Vision.

    I'm extremely annoyed by this too as my new TV is not being used to its full potential.
