HELLO OK SO I NEED TO KNOW IF I WERE TO HOOK AN XBOX ONE S HDMI CABLE,(IN OTHER WORDS JUST AN HDMI CABLE). TO MY LG TV, BUT ALSO AN AV CABLE WOULD I GET BETTER AUDIO AND VIDEO FOR MY GAMING AND ALSO MY TV. I WANT TO KNOW BECAUSE I ALSO WANT IT TO IMPROVE MY INTERNET SPEED AND GAMING SO I CAN PLAY GAMES TO THE MAX GRAPHICS SETTINGS AND AUDIO AND VIDEO SETTINGS FOR EXTRA FUN AND WITHOUT SLOW LOADING, ERRORS AND ETC... I ALSO WANT TO KNOW WHAT I CAN USE IF THAT DOESN'T WORK OUT SO I DON'T HAVE TO SPEND AN ARM AND A LEG U GET WHAT I'M SAYING!!! OH AND PLEASE TAKE UR TIME THIS QUESTION IS ONLY FOR EXPERIMENT AND FUN IT'S NOT THAT I HAVE AN ENTIRE FAMILY WHO WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE TILL I GIVE EM WUT THEY WANNA HAHAHA

LG's HDMI support is notoriously unstable, not sure if it is the way they handshake or whether their software is poor but it is a long standing complaint you can find in many places on the internet.

Xbox 360 had issues with LG TV's as well (do a web search for xbox one lg tv hdmi and you'll get pages of results including PlayStation issues connecting to LG TV's so not limited to Microsoft).

Things to try:

On your TV that it works with, set your Xbox One to a lower resolution i.e. 720p then plug it in to the LG TV and see if it works.

Check for a TV firmware update

Reset TV to factory default settings

Try other HDMI cables

Try a HDMI to AV converter for your sister's TV and use AV cables with your Xbox One when using that TV.

No changes or updates to my system sadly. Only change was from one tv to the other tv. This first started happening a week ago. I had it linked upto the LG tv, then the screen just went blank, and hasnt worked since on the LG tv. But as stated it works
fine on the Samsung tv.

Also it will not work via the AV/Scart cable on the LG, only via the composite cable. Luckily my tv supports all of the above methods for connection.

So to clarify you said that the Xbox 360 works with all the TVs in the house except the LG and you're using the HDMI cable on all of the TV's correct?

On the AV cable did you make sure to change the switch to HDTV? It may be set on SD/composite which is why it's showing a poor picture.

If the Xbox 360 can connect to other TV's with the HDMI cable, then you may want to try all of the HDMI ports on the LG TV and check your TV's firmware to make sure it's up to date.

But to have the maximum video and sound quality, the connection is made only by the HDMI cable between the TV and the console.
