    Lg sound bar with xb1 help!


    So im trying to figure out what the best configuration is for my xb1 and lg sound bar. Currently i have the hdmi going through my cable box to the xb1 for use of the tv. Then an hdmi going from the xb1 to my lg tv. As for the sound bar i just have the optical
    cable running from the xb1 to the sound bar. Ive never owned a sound bar so im not sure if im getting the best possible sound. Could anyone tell me if theres a better setup for all of this? Thanks!

    Can I connect Xbox one direct to soundbar via optical cable?

    I have lg sound bar I just plugged it in and it worked sorry cant help you with remote issue I also have a lg tv so my tv remote works it

    Xbox One and Sound bar questions.

    I have an LG NB4530A sound bar that is currently wired via an optical cable directly to my LG smart TV. My question is, will switching the optical lead from the sound bar directly to my XB1 improve sound quality at all? Also, how will I then get sound out of my TV when watching normal TV? (I do not have a sat box or set top box so I can not watch tv thru my XB1?)

    Lg sound bar with xb1 help!

    I have the exact same setup as yourself and I'm pretty sure we are getting the best sound, especially using the optical cable!

    Xbox one x, 4k, hdr, atmos soundbar = delayed sound

    I have a lg Dolby sound bar. It dose the same . I had to put the xbox directly into the hdmi in on the sound bar. But it knocks normal tv sound a bit of .

    Have you downloaded the lg sound bar app . You can play about with the sync 🤔

    One S connected to soundbar for atmos, screen flashes

    Found this:

    1. Update firmwares for TV, XB1S & Sound bar.
    2. XB1S HDMI OUT (to TV) goes to Sound bar HDMI IN. (DOES NOT GO TO TV)
    3. Sound bar HDMI ARC OUT goes to TV HDMI ARC.
    4. TV AUDIO set to PCM. TV VIDEO set to ARC.
    5. Sound bar audio set to HDMI IN. (NOT HDMI ARC)
    6. XB1S Video set to 4K UHD.
    7. XB1S Audio set to ATMOS.
    *Most importantly, XB1S HDMI OUT (to TV) DOES NOT GO TO TV, BUT GOES TO Sound bar IN! XB1S HDMI IN Should NOT BE USED!
