LG SJ9 Dolby atoms not working

Discus and support LG SJ9 Dolby atoms not working in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have a 65" Samsung ks8000 with Xbox one x and an LG SJ9 sound bar and I can not get Dolby atoms to work.     LG SJ9 Dolby atoms not working


    I have a 65" Samsung ks8000 with Xbox one x and an LG SJ9 sound bar and I can not get Dolby atoms to work. I have deleted the app and downloaded again and have talked to Xbox support where they had me resetting the console and re downloading the app then
    told me they can't help me.

    Dolby atmos not recognizing sound bar

    one tried with chat but not working, and suggested trying here. I have a new Xbox one s and trying to get it to work with my lg sj9 sound bar. I installed the Dolby app and when I select Dolby atmos in settings says my device doesn't support atmos. The
    sound bar does and I have tried different cables. No when I play a movie uhd that bias atmos it works.

    Is this a problem with edid tables from Dolby app to sound bar or something else?

    Xbox One X Periodic Audio Cut Out - SJ9 & Atmos

    I have the same problem, but my Xbox One X pushes Dolby Atmos to non Dolby Atmos movies. Also my Xbox pushes out HDR to non HDR movies. It's very frustrating that the sound cuts in n out even when I play Shadow of The Tomb Raider that's Dolby Atmos. Even
    Avengers Infinity War sound cuts in n out. Since I have a Geek Squad warranty, I took my LG SJ9 to Best Buy. They tested all Dolby Atmos scenarios and never once did they have a problem with the soundbar in Dolby Atmos mode cutting in n out. There's something
    wrong with the Dolby Atmos signal the Xbox One X uses that the SJ9 has problems decoding.

    Sound Bar LG SJ9 Atmos Soundbar

    I have the same problem - I have my Xbox one S connected to my ATMOS enabled LG 2017 TV and then to the Atmos enabled SJ9 via ARC and neither sound output is recognised as supporting Atmos by the Xbox when I try to enable it as the bitstream out format.
    A direct connection of the xbox to the SJ9 via the HDMI in connection also fails. Bitstream out with Dolby digital works fine.

    Atmos works fine from other sources.

    try to power cycle your console. Please hold down the power button on the front of the console for approximately 15 seconds until the power light shuts off. Wait about 60 seconds, then power it back on. Be sure you see the green "XBOX ONE" animation loading
    screen when you power it back up. Then go to audio setting and set again you're Dolby Atmos Sound option
