    LG remote control stopped working on Xbox one


    My Lag remote has suddenly stopped working on my Xbox one, i used to be able to navigate through my apps and use it when i used things like Netflix and prime. Now, i can't do anything as when i press any button on my remote it just comes up with an option
    to do recordings and literally wont do anything else. I've tried turning it off, resetting but still nothing, doing my head in!!

    Pause button not working on any remote in Netflix app

    I have a nyko media remote with a pause/play button for Xbox one. A few weeks ago the pause stopped working in Netflix but works fine in plex. I can pause with the Xbox controller with no issues. Currently we have to stop and then resume the video.

    Samsung SMART TVs have a remote control app across all major mobile OS and it works very well. I'm pretty sure SONY and LG also have similar apps. I think it's safe to say that IR remotes will be done with sooner than you think.

    I have not seen an option in the menus on the console that allows you to disable the Xbox One media remote. As the remote uses

    IR technology     to control your console you could try repositioning one of the consoles to see if this stops it from being controlled by the remote.

    It may also be worth posting this on the
    Xbox Ideas website     to try to get this feature added to the console.

    This is how I have connected my remote in the past when I used it with my computer, just by connecting the USB to the computer and into the controller. For some reason this has stopped working though and no longer turns on the remote when I plug it in
