Hi

Just bought a new TV and when I set the series s to 120hz 4k visuals and launch a game my TV will show no signal if I turn the xbox off and back on it comes back but soon as I try to launch a game it says no signal again on my TV

Yes upto 60hz not 120hz as I mentiomed

And in the white papers

60hz on the ori was the max any site mentioned and 90fps on 1080p on yakuza

The lost frames goes higher

Going 120hz requires a resolution drop

I would need to complete model number, but my guess for you it would be that you have to enable it on the porch, and at the game may not support 120 Hz on the series S. Can you please tell us which game specifically you’re trying to run, and which port on the TV and your Xbox is plugged into, as well as the complete model number of the TV

Well no the xbox series s isn't capable of 4k 120hz video games it's not even capable of 4k 60hz

That's the series x

The best the series s can do is 1440p

The reason why you aren't getting any signal is because the series s isn't capable of it

Only in streaming not gaming

As noted it's only capable of 120hz on 1440p in games and 4,k 120hz on streaming

Not a lot of games support 4k 120hz even on xbox series x

Even on backwards compatibility games it's a max of 60fps with yakuza running at 900 frames

You gotta remember it's upscaled not native

Hence the lesser space requirements for series s
