    Using my new LG CX with my Series X and LG Atmos System. Atmos works great. Everything works great with all my other connected devices. Atmos on the Xbox works and sounds good although with the same massive audio delay I've read about while skimming this sub. One fix I've seen thrown around should be to set the TV from 'Auto' to 'Passthrough' audio.

    As soon as you set it to pass through, the audio delay goes away because the Xbox just straight up turns off Atmos because it doesn't work anymore.

    Now if you go to Settings > General > Volume & Audio Output > Speaker Audio and try to enable the Atmos you were just using the Xbox tells you your receiver doesn't support Atmos. If I switch over to my other devices like my Nvidia Shield. Atmos works perfectly.

    Set the audio on the LG back to auto and now you can suddenly enable Atmos just fine again with that nice big audio delay coming back.

    Series X. Straight into a 2020 LG CX. Then onto a AVR via arc.

    Sorry, no DTS but bitstream DD5.1 works.

    DTS only works if I bypass the TV and go straight into the AVR, LG'S won't pass through DTS.

    I wanted to reply since I just came across this issue with my series x and I figured out the issue and it worked for me. I have a LG c9 and I’m using an av receiver and what I did was I went to all settings on my tv> sound> additional settings and then I changed HDMI input audio format to bitstream. I don’t know why it was changed to pcm but it may have been part of an update but since then everything is green now with audio. Hope this helps you guys

    Similar issue for me. Have xbox series x connected to lg cx and cx connected via e-arc to tsr-700 receiver and 5.1.2 system. Even booting up the console the audio cuts in and out/ stutters! Tried watching some uhd blu rays and same issue. It comes and

    Looking into a bit more,

    when the series x is connected directly to my LG CX, Via the secret DVI/HDMI status menu DD bitstream reports as AC3 9ch 48000Hz, Stereo uncompressed reports as PCM 2Ch 48000Hz, Atmos reports as MAT 8Ch 192000Hz so it all looks ok here, cant test DTS as the 2020 CX doesnt support DTS.

    Any new update on this situation. I have an LG CX hooked up to a Samsung Q90r soundbar. If the Xbox is set to Dolby Atmos there is a noticeable delay. Unfortunately on the LG OLED and the soundbar you can not reduce the audio delay so you can only further increase it. However if I choose 7.1 uncompressed I have no issues.
