LG C1 and C2: Console Booting to Incorrect Resolution 640x480

No, unfortunately, one cannot speak of clarity in this case, because I have experienced the exact opposite case.

I own the LG C1 and the LG C2, and the handshake problems have NEVER occurred in over a year of use on the C1! Instead, however, they keep coming back with the C2 on the same Xbox Series X console. When switching this console back to the C1, the same picture again, NEVER! LG C1 and LG C2 both support Dolby Vision (for gaming). Before testing the LG C2 with one / my Series X, I had never heard of the handshake issue with Dolby Vision. Besides, the LG C2 works very well, but the Dolby Vision handshake in games can hardly be tested on other devices, because the PS5 does not support this feature and other devices are at least unknown to me.

The lg c1 is specifically a 4k 120hz tv I put it to match the resolution and also matched the resolution on my older tv also. It doesn’t seem to matter the video settings. Are there specific settings I should try?

My new Xbox came an hour ago. Happy to report no low resolution issues on this console.

Including my new Xbox, my brother's Xbox and my ps5 that's now 3 consoles that have no resolution issues connected to my LG C2.

Do you still think it's the TV motherboard that needs replacing??

It does appear to be the original first edition Xbox series x that has the fault.

No wonder LG aren't so eager to do this.

Lets explain it this way

A1= Son 1s account Has a gold subscription

A2= Son 2s account

C1= Son 1s console

C2= Son 2s console

Set C2 as A1s home console and A2 will be able to play any digitally owned game and share A1s subscriptions

A1 will be able to play any digital game they own and use their subscription on any console they are signed into.

Now if A2 wants to use the gold on C1 he would have to have A1 signed in at the same time.
