Discus and support LG 65UF8600​ HDR Xbox One S in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have a LG 65UF8600 that I use with a Xbox One S and PS4.     LG 65UF8600​ HDR Xbox One S


    I have a LG 65UF8600 that I use with a Xbox One S and PS4. LG has mixed answers on HDR with this model; however, this model does have Ultra Deep Color. The apps that are this tv shows when HDR is activated by showing a message saying "HDR is on" and "HDR
    is off". When I use the PS4, the HDR option is select able and the messages previously mentioned are shown. But, on the Xbox One S the HDR option is grayed out and is saying there is no HDR on this tv. Is there a way to make HDR select able so it can check
    the tv and verify that HDR is available on the tv? Does anyone have a similar problem on this model tv or any other 4k tv?

    XBOX ONE S & HDR

    I have LG 55UH7700 which according to LG supports HDR but when I connect ONE S through HDMI directly to TV and check TV info on XBOX i get no support for HDR as per photo attached, would like to know if I'm missing something:

    LG HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color issue (Screen flickering)

    I chatted with an LG attendant. I have a 60 inch LG 60UF7700 model with this Ultra HD Deep Color function. The attendant told me that Ultra HD Deep Color is not the same thing as HDR, they are different functions and the problem of my Xbox One S is not enabling
    the HDR is because my TV does not have HDR support. I was frustrated.

    HDR feature not working on lg tv

    I have the same problem with the LG OLED 55EG9600 which supports 10bit HDR. I cannot enable HDR in the Xbox one s 500GB setup, it is greyed out.

    * I have installed the latest updates from LG(4.05.05) and Microsoft(10.0.14393.1045) to each device with no luck.

    * Color depth is set to 10Bit

    * I have tried 3 HDMI cables including the one supplied with the XBOX

    * 2d Bluray, 3d Bluray, and 4k without HDR will play

    UHD Color is the Samsung equivalent of HDR10 and supported by the 40" Samsung TV model in the other thread. Look it up in the manual. The other guy mentioned also that he eventually got an LG, so there's another HDR supported 40" panel for your needs.

    I use an LG 27UD58-B. It is a good monitor, but it does not support HDR. LG has some newer ones that do support HDR.
