My friend & I tried to set up xbox one & LG LW6500 TV will not detect xbox one. At one point we connected the controller to the xbox & for a moment it detected then lost signal, it only detected for brief moment. The controller doesn't have any batteries.
    It won't detect at all.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    :)

    HDR Wont Work

make sure you first check video settings in your LG TV and then check advanced settings in your Xbox menu. It will detect whether your TV is 4K and HDR compatible.

Hi, just a few things to verify, the HDMI cable is in the HDMI port nearest to the power lead on the xbox, try a different HDMI port on the TV, try a different HDMI cable, try resetting the display settings on the xbox by removing any disc from the drive,
power the xbox off, press and hold the power button and eject button, keep both buttons held, you will hear the power on tone and around 10 seconds later a second power on tone, do not let go of the buttons until you hear the second power on tone.

  6. I tried all of this. Tried the bluray player cable & port works great for bluray but not the xbox. I tried all HDMI cables. HDMI is in the correct port.

We tried the eject & power button trick, didn't work either,

The xbox is my friends it worked at his place.

Looks like a handshake issue between the xbox and TV, I get this on occasion with my lg oled TV, what I do when this happens it to power the xbox and TV off, press and hold the power button on the xbox for 10 seconds to power it off, disconnect the xbox
power supply from the mains power outlet for a couple of minutes, disconnect the HDMI cable from the xbox, power the TV on, reconnect the xbox power supply to the mains power and power the xbox on with the HDMI cable disconnected, give it a minute and then
    connect the HDMI cable.

Did you hear both power on tones when you did the eject/power button reset ?

3D Blu-ray movies no longer play in 3D mode

Issue still occurs for me. TV is LG OLED55E6T TV (firmware version 05.30.15).

When playing 3D blu-ray movies through the X-Box One S blu-ray app, it will play the 2d menus but as soon as the disc switches over to 3D mode, the picture is lost completely with the LG input can't be detected screen soon appearing thereafter. If I unplug
the HDMI cable from the TV and plug it back into the same input the TV will detect the video again.
