Hello this is about my flash drive which has many of my games DLC's and other items on it. Recently I have purchased NBA 2k15 and a turtle beach XL 1 headset. That night I used both and it was working correctly. Then the next day once on the startup screen
it seemed to show the choose a sign in for profiles which was odd because I usually have it auto sign in. It just showed download profile or create sign in. after I tried to reinsert the flash drive my xbox froze. this reoccurred many times as I tried troubleshooting.
Is there anything anyone can do to help. I have more than $50 worth of games.

I have tried usb troubleshooting and nothing

It sort of sounds as if your USB drive may have become corrupted. You would need to erase it and then reformat the drive on the 360. You can download any of your purchases again through your download history. It is inconvenient (especially if you have a
slow download speed or a bandwidth cap) but at least you can recover all your games and DLC. However you will lose any game save files. You will probably have to download your profile again as well.

I did notice you mentioned you have the E console, does it have a hard drive or just the 4GB flash storage? I ask this since it appears your profile isn't recognized and by your description should have been loaded on either of those. Also check that storage
to see if it is working properly before you proceed with wiping the external drive just to make sure this isn't causing the problem. You may need to reformat this if it is causing the problem or isn't being recognized.

The xbox will only recognize a usb addition of up to 16 gbs of extra storage.

16 GB LeXar USB not recognized on start up.

Not all USB flash drives will work correctly with the Xbox 360. I suggest looking

    here
for more information on getting your USB drive working. There is a known issue that some USB drives will cause bizarre and strange problems/errors to being downright incompatible.

Hey PlayerXXX i'm sure you did but just in case, did you unplug it and plug it back in with xbox powered on? Because in my case, it would not boot up once the xbox was powered on, i would then unplug it and plug it back in and it would boot up fine.
