    my son says when he tries to go online on battlefield 1 the game tells him that hes not old enough but i have gone into the family settings and let him play 18 rated games

    Omg im so frustrated ! whats going on with EA servers? Sometimes i cant go online to play battlefield 1943.

    my internet conection is fine, Bcuz i can connect online to play other games

    How old is your brother?

    EA are fairly strict on letting underage players play online games (assuming he's under 13)

    Does he have any other EA games he can try (e.g. FIFA etc..)

    EA games have their own set of age restrictions that are separate from the Xbox settings. There is no way around their settings. He has to be at least 13 for some of their games or 18 for any games rated M.

    Yippee, it's fixed. I played Skate 2 online and it's linked my gamertag to my new EA account. And Battlefield 3 now lets me play Multiplayer.

    1. EA has a online age restriction of 13 years old.

    2. If you got the game used you need to buy a Online Passcode to allow for online play.

    Not sure if you fall into one of those or not. Other then that are you sure your just not set up on a child account on the Xbox itself?
