Letting families play together.

Beyond the Home Xbox thing, which (indirectly) allows two family members to play together, there is no way for families with three or more consoles to play together, unless they buy separate subscriptions and multiple copies of every game.

Background

I have an Ultimate subscription, a bunch of games previously claimed through Games with Gold, and some more games purchased through the Store.

Me and my son can access all of the same games, and can play them online together, but now my daughter wants to play too. There's no way to upgrade my Ultimate subscription, and needing individual subscriptions for each child, and having to buy every game
multiple times, is far too complicated.

Game Pass

Any company that's willing to put their game on Game Pass would be willing to let more people play the game for a proportionately larger payment. So, for example, there could be a Single-Player Game Pass for £30 (quarterly), where you could pay £10 for each
extra family member.

Store Purchases

Allowing family-wide Store purchases would be more complicated. Still, I can
currently purchase a game from the Store, and play it with a family member, on two Xbox consoles, online, with a single purchase and a single Gold subscription. If you can do two, you could do three, and should really support up to four players (at a minimum).

I don't have a simple solution to family purchases from the Store, but think it's worth discussing.

TLDR

Family Game Pass subscriptions would be relatively easy to support, and would provide families with a great collection of games they could play together. Supporting family-wide Store purchases may be asking too much.
