Lets start a ban on xbox one store games

I have been a loyal customer of Microsoft's for many years now and I am fed up with the Games on sale in the Xbox store being sometimes 30% more than my local shops.

As everyone has said before this makes no sense due to the reduction in providing this product to us.
Microsoft you are just being Greedy.

There aren't even discounts for being an Xbox Gold customer on the good games.

I really think as a community we should all stop purchasing any games from the Online Store and support our local shops. Maybe Microsoft will either get the idea or close down the online store as a waste of time and money.

I do hope that the powers that be within Microsoft take note of how many people are so dissatisfied over these costs.

Let´s start a petition to ban Tomb Raider from stores.

I feel the game is biased against men because you can´t play as a male protagonist. It also actively encourages female violence against men.

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

Loyal customer for many years with a gamer score of only 1720 I bet I get that most months and I couldn't care less about achievements

 

I just bought Lego Batman 2 and Mortal Kombat vs DCU from the 360 store for 5 bucks each.

MS's pricing model has improved drastically over the last year for games on demand on the 360, I'm sure the One will follow when the library is larger.

 

I'll support your boycott, but only because I leave the house and buy games locally anyway. Lol.

If you really want to live in a flourishing local economy, you should be doing this anyway - especially if you can get your dollars into locally-owned businesses; not the big-box ones. Good on ya', for leading the charge.

Uh... yes, there are. Today alone, 50% off MGS Ground Zeroes, 40% off two different popular Lego games and 25% off Flockers... and they're switched out weekly. Good gracious.

 

Yes it's dumb.. but if we get rid of the store or "ban" it. Then people will start complaining about having to go to the store and buy a copy of the game, rather then just buying it directly on their XBOX.

 

While I agree that some sales could be better, the sales we do have are by no means bad at all, as ZenSteve has already pointed out. I also, for one, will NOT support your endeavor to shut out the Xbox Store. It gives us more choices, competition in the
market, convenience, and allows for other publishers and developers to offer their own discounts like with EA Acess, that would not be possible without the Xbox Store and that aren't available anywhere else.

 

Um...... lets not. Just don't buy from the MS store if you don't like it....

 

Ive stopped supporting my local shops because they support game trading which is more of a curse on the gaming industry. I'll continue to purchase Digital thanks.

 

Microsoft doesn't necessarily set the digital price. That's something between MS and the publisher.

This rant is spoken like someone who doesn't know why digital pricing may be higher than brick and mortar pricing. Maybe do some research?

 

yes i agree digital game prices are expensive but like others have said i dont think microsoft has much control over what publishers charge for their products. Also remember we are only into the first year of the console so prices will be high so developers
can recoup their costs . Give it time we will start to see cheaper games on digital appear

 

Gamerscore means nothing except you go got achievements, I played COD for years never got any achievements because they are all on the campaign and I only played MP.

Ms have put things in place to make digital worth while, and long may it continue.

 

when digital prices come down, I'll support it. I will still use both though as i like the idea of trading unwanted games once completed - there arent many games i keep hold of.
