Lets have a rant about the xbox one

Right here goes.

It's been nearly 2 years since the xbox one came out i was excited when i got it but straight away i started to dislike it, reason being i had to install a game before i could even play it and were i live internet is poor so could imagine how i felt. Why
didnt you just keep to the same choice as we had on the xbox 360 rather we put the game on the hard drive or not. Secondly i know it's a next generation console but why didnt you introduce backwards compatibility straight away come on your Microsoft for god
sake i expected it from sony not you guys talking about backwards compatibility you said you would listen to the xbox community and even gave us a chance to vote for what games we would like to play on the xbox one which we played on the 360 and guess what
did you listen to us NO i looked at the voting poll and all and behold call of duty was top not only top but im sure i saw call of duty 1st to 6th, have you started the backwards compatability with them NO you have. What do you start with but the shitiest
games ever come on you want people back on board with xbox then ffs listen to us we know what we want and it is us that buys these games and plays them. if it wasn't for us xbox wouldnt be even going now cause most probably have gone to playstation. Sort it
out guys

Same here.Been with xbox/xbox live since 2003 & you have never had to pay to transfer your gamertag from one console to another.

Nothing wrong with a rant as long as it a well informed rant.

Games are on Blu-ray now & have to be installed,it's something to do with the speed they have to spin in order to work.

You can blame Activision for none of the COD games not being backwards compatible,not Microsoft.

Activision have said no & that's why they are not on the list.

Maybe do 5 minutes research before having a rant next time.

Can you post the error code & whether you have it on disc or a digital copy ?

 

sell it and buy a ps4 then? enjoy BC on that..... Also, the BC list hasn't been released yet, so how exactly do yu know COD isn't on there. Before you start arguing, Activision have never confirmed they are not supporting BC, that was merely a rumour

With regards to the mandatory installations, I don't know and at the same time, I don't really see why it's an issue. If you're installing from a disc, your internet connection has absolutely nothing to do with install times. If you're downloading the game,
I'm not sure what you expect...?

Backwards compatibility was actually believed to be "impossible" when the Xbox One was released. Even Sony claimed that backwards compatibility was impossible on both consoles. After the surprise announcement of it on Xbox One, even Sony executives applauded
and voiced their credit to Microsoft for making it possible. You should just be happy it's here now.

As for Call Of Duty, I cannot say for sure but here's a theory. Why would Activison allow people to play their old Call Of Duty games ONE week after their newest current generation game is released? A lot of people would simply ignore the new game and go
back to playing the old versions. Unfortunately, when a game is available for backwards compatibility is not down to Microsoft. Each individual publisher has to allow them to release it.
