"Let's go" button doesn't work after I download minecraft launcher on Mac

I'm trying to buy Minecraft through the launcher on my mac, but after I try to create a gamer tag on the Xbox page, my let's go button doesn't work. I've tried waiting and clicking it repeatedly, even tried connecting to a different network but it still isn't working.

So you're still on the process of creating a new Xbox account or gamertag, correct?
Do you get any error code or error message?

Kindly check your account through https://account.xbox.com/Profile if it's already setup completely or not. You can change or assign a gamertag through the web.

Hi. It won't let me download the launcher on minecraft.net. I start the download but after just seconds it stops refers me to the microsoft store. And when i try to downlaod minecraft via the microsoft store it doesn't work either. What can I do?

When I click buy from the Minecraft launcher it takes me to this website https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-edition?ref=Launcher I'm not logged in and it has the option to purchase Minecraft but after logging in to the that website with same Microsoft account that I had logged into the Minecraft launcher with the purchase option is replaced with Already own Minecraft? Download it again. and the launcher download button.

On the Minecraft launcher login page, please don't use your old Mojang account login details. You will need to click the "Go back" button on the login screen then click "Add account" and then choose "Microsoft login."

If that doesn't work, try using the other version of the launcher which you can download from this link, https://aka.ms/minecraftClientWindows.
