    Let us download large 60BG games on PC and then transfer them to Xbox one.


    Why is this not a thing yet? The reason this would be a neat idea is because some of us don't have 50/10 internet, and have to leave stuff downloading for ages overnight. So instead of downloading directly on Xbox One, we first download it on PC (with fast
    internet elsewhere), and then transfer it to the Xbox One. I'd pay if this was a feature for people with "shiette internet".

    As of now, I have a internet plan that we cant upgrade of 600Kbps down, and 160 Kbps upstream. I have averaged the "MBph" to 204.5 at 600 Kbps. A 6GB update would take 30 hours in "theory" not including the frequent pauses. I know
    it's my problem if my internet is garbage, but it would benefit everyone since almost everything is on the internet and many developers sell incomplete games with day-one patches that take hours or even days. Even if you have to make it a paid service, it
    would benefit many and makes sense, since I should be able to throw more money at my screen to make downloads go faster.

    Download on PC then transfer?!

    Hi there,

    I'm afraid it's only possible to download your games via a Xbox 360 console, it can not be downloaded via any other type of device.

    i think this question is asked millions of time before but i wanted if the answer is still NO.

    in short i have a limited download quota at home whereas at my work i have an unlimited connection.

    i want to download games using my work connection and then transfer them to my xbox 360 elite.

    is this possible to do?

    (i know some may say copyright and pirating might cause problems... but there are free games in the marketplace, even those couldn't be downloaded?)

    There is a couple of ways to transfer them to your PC.

    1. Transfer them to the Onedrive on your Xbox one, then download them off there to edit on your PC.

    2. Launch the Xbox Console Companion on Windows 10 PC. Select captures, and if they are already uploaded to Xbox Live, select Xbox Live, and download each clip to your computer, then you can use an editing suite of your choice.

    Thank you for coming to the forums. Unfortunately you cannot download digital games onto an external HD from a PC and then transfer them onto the Xbox One. You can do that from one Xbox to another, but not from PC to Xbox One because the external HD's are
    formatted specifically for the Xbox One and I'm not sure the files will download onto the Xbox One from the PC. Plus the files are different because they are essentially different versions unless they are included as

    Xbox Play Anywhere     titles.

    You can play games offline on the Xbox One granted you have it set as your
    Home Console    , but you do have to download them first while connected.

    Are download speeds just low or is it something that we can help troubleshoot with your network?

    The only official way at the moment is to download the Xbox mobile app for android or ios, then log in and download the clips from there, then connect the device to your PC and transfer the clips.

    There is a new feature coming to the Xbox, that will let you upload the clips to your Onedrive account, and then you will be able to download them straight to your PC, and then you can do what you want with them.
