    What The He__ u do to youtube and why.

    My problem is not searching with the new Youtube app, its the interface all together that is huge step backwards from the previous Youtube app. The 360 Youtube app is now worse than the PS3 Youtube app.

    The change has completely broke the functionality I had with the Xbox 360 universal remote control. None of the buttons on the remote correspond correctly now.

    None of the HD videos playback at HD now, they are all playing at the default 320p resolution that I seen the Youtube website default to now, and there doesn't seem to be anyway to change the quality on the new Youtube app for 360 either. I even checked
    and confirmed this buy enabling the Show video info in Settings, and speaking of Settings:

    I don't like how the Youtube Settings is now buried all the way at the bottom of the now virtual menu, this is unacceptable, it takes a good minute now to scroll all the way down to the bottom past all the Youtube options and subscriptions to get to Settings.

    Why is Google and Microsoft forcing this change? I had no choice but to redownload the Youtube app since they disabled the old Youtube app.

    If they are going to make these types of changes at least make sure everything is streamlined because right now, nothing is.

    Th is completely unacceptable!!!! I cant even access netflix or youtube, let alone gta5!

    It has to with the latest 4K update that google added to YouTube app, and from what I've read at reddit and few other forums, Google is throttling YouTube bitrate on few devices and I won't be surprised Xbox would be one of the devices, as we've seen Google
    tends to ignore Microsoft devices when it comes to releasing it's apps.

    Xbox One keeps signing me out of Youtube

    I have the same issue since the latest Youtube app update (11/22) on my Series X.

    Upon every boot, when entering the app, i must re-allow Youtube on Xbox on the google website.

    Tried reinitializing the app, deleting it, then reinstalling, to no avail.

    Microsoft is only providing the marketplace infrastructure to allow Google to put their YouTube app up for download.

    If you have trouble with the YouTube app on your Xbox, you will have to contact the YouTube/Google support and ask them for the issues you have.

    Microsoft didn't make the YouTube app.
