    Well, it's Monday morning. The wife is at work and the kids are at school. I looking at my 500$ broken Xbox One thinking I've been let down yet again. I've been with Microsoft and Xbox live 10 years straight.
    I own 3 Original Xbox's, 7 Xbox 360, Xbox one and hundreds of games and swag. I've spent thousands of dollars on Microsoft products...... Here it is less than a year later and yet again ANOTHER broken xbox! I so mad and frustrated I could scream! I'm a loyal
    customer and feel like I have been used and betrayed by the company I have been supporting for years. Why can't Microsoft make a product that I'm proud to own and happy to recommend. I would not recommend the Xbox one to anyone right now. Yes your fixing it
    for free, but why are we at this point already, less than year latter. Now I have to wait 3-4 weeks to get my console back. Who's to say it will work properly when I do get it back, or will it need to be repaired again in 3 months? Maybe next time it needs
    to be repaired I will be out of warranty and than I will be stuck with another paperweight. I feel I deserve an apology in the form of a letter for someone in charge at Microsoft. Telling me "Were sorry for letting you down yet again Mr. Frank. We apologize
    to a valued customer. We realize you have spent thousands of dollars on out products and you deserve better." I await your replay Microsoft . Signed very frustrated customer. Mr. Frank

  2. Comcast down yet again...

    Comcast is working on the problem now be patient and you will be able to play Xbox live again. If you can't be patient try using a Ethernet cable if that doesn't work you have to be patient until the problem is resolved

    Your box is still under warranty, if you don't want to wait. Order and advanced repair. Microsoft doesn't owe you a personal apology. As an owner of 7 Xbox 360's That's almost one broken a year for that consoles life span. So, if you accepted it then,
    and now have a bum box this time an all of the sudden you are entitled? I don't get it.

  5. I expect more from a company that had so many problems with the 360. Did they not learn anything for the previous console? Why is it to much to ask for an apology? It's not like I'm asking for a free console or games, just an apology for putting me through
    this again. I'm sure I'm not the only person who would appreciate some sort of acknowledgment that they messed up again.

    Every single company that produces electronics has product that passes initial QC checks and fails later with in a warranty period. This is very common, its due to electronics being smaller, more complex thus issues that cannot be foreseen in them can propagate
    later. Its the risk we take with this type of technology, and lead free solder also has a lot to do with it.

    If they had some sort of miracle method to weed out 100% of the units that may suffer from defect, don't your think they would deploy this. as it's a huge waste of resources and money that impacts their profit margin replacing consoles and paying support
    reps to take care of it.

    The whole purpose of warranty is for this exact reason, there is no perfect QC check that can for see failure until things hit real world conditions. All places that sell the Xbox One, offer extended warranty that gives the user the option to mitigate their
    losses if they are unlucky as well. So its a gamble on both ends, user and manufacturer.

    I have been alive for many years, and through out these years i have had numerous things fail or be bad right out of the box. From companies that have been specialized in the area for decades, I still don't demand/feel I deserve an apology in the form of
    a letter for someone in charge.

    For the amount of time you spent writing your demand. You could have finished an advanced exchange for your console.

    Long story short. They owe you a replacement console since it has failed with in the guarantee. Not an apology from some one in charge who probably has nothing to do with the manufacturing in China anyways.

    Sorry to hear about your console problems OP but unfortunately things, whether TVs, phones, computers ( this list goes on and on here ) can and will go wrong.

    Just a matter of having a little patience and waiting for it to be repaired/replaced.

    I know how frustrating it can be. Mine came broke on day 1. You never saw me complain. Stuff happens get over it. I would have thought somebody with that gamertag would be tougher. Who is hording all the baby bottles today? This makes my car being
    recalled insignificant.

    I have one original Xbox, 5 360's and a One (maybe 2 more after the holidays) Plus tons of money in games.3 times RROD with the 360. Once was 3 days before COD 4 came out. Now I have a Xbox One that is kaput. It just went out via Fed Ex today. Am I ticked
    off at Microsoft? Ummmmmmm no. It is disappointing that I dont' have my X1 right now but not that big of a deal. I can do other stuff while it gets fixed.
