Less pc mobas more console mobas.

every time i hear that a new moba is being made for pc i just facepalm.

Pc has two of the top moba games ever made, Dota 2 league of legends.

and yet people still feel the need to make more mobas in a market that is already full of mobas.

Where the console market is wide open for a good moba, and yes i know the console has a few mobas but nothing super big.

Gome was a fun moba but number one problem with that game is lag, second is the gem belt. really bad idea.

Thus for the reasons i stated above the game is pretty much dying or dead, now i still get a game or two in on Gome but if the host has horrible dial up net everyone lags.

So i'm hoping with the dedicated servers xbox one has, that someone with a brain will actually make a good moba on console and make bank.

Because let's be honest, before anyone say's moba just don't work on console because of controls, i would simply reply with one word (Gome) Gome really does show you that mobas control wise can indeed work on consoles just fine.

Personally if riot made a league of legend style moba for console i'd *** my pants, but i highly doubt that would ever happen. But a man can hope can he >_<!

Well if we're talking MOBAs, you can't play with a controller, so if it does happen and RIOT releases LOL for Xbox One, I'm sure we'll only be able to play through a mouse and keyboard.

I don't think Moba's would work well on the consoles simply because of their interface.

"and make bank". That's a good one. A moba would fail miserably on console because of the lack of a mouse. How are you going to go about last hitting / denying without cycling through targets? Not to mention if you have something like that it removes all
competitiveness from the game. Then of course there would be the extremely slow process of trying to go through menus to buy the items you need without taking forever when every second can make a difference. Besides, I don't think many console gamers would
sit through a 30 min + match.

I find it absolutely hilarious that people in this thread don't even know what one of most popular game genres even is though. I mean Leagues only the most played game in the world. 27 million unique people per day and 67 million monthly.

wtf is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena?

 

It's basically like an rts with a bit of tower defense. You in a team of 5 after getting matched up you then select a character to play as and there are 3 lanes 1 in the middle 1 on the left and 1 on the right. you are on one side of the lane while the enemy
is on the other. Each lane spawns units in waves. you don't control them though. You only control the character you play as. (The units can be upgraded to different kinds that are stronger than the other) Each lane has 4 towers (2 are yours 2 are the enemies)
and you have 2 towers at your base, defending the main tower. The towers can be upgraded also.

The main objective is to basically destroy the main tower but in order to destroy the main tower. You have to destroy all the towers in a lane. When all towers are destroyed you are allowed to attack the main tower. Then when the tower is destroyed you win
but in order to destroy the towers you actually need to come up with a strategy with your team mates. since each character has their own unique abilities and stats.

oh also forgot to mention you also level up your character which also plays an advantage since your stats increase, do more damage, and level up abilities but each round/game you always start at 0 and work your way up to the max level again. Then 1 round/game
can take 10-40 minutes all depends on the character you use and your teamates.

 

Bon3zz1001 Do you even fully understand what Moba stands for? no where in the words *Multiplayer Online Battle Arena* does it say you need a mouse or to last hit minions, if you ever played Guardians of middle earth on console you'd know controller does
just fine on last hitting minions.

*Ps* i was playing wc3 when dota first came out, that's way before any of this league of legends and other knock off were even thought up.

The funny part is people on wc3 didn't think anyone would actually make a dota knock off, me and my friend sure did talk about it alot back in the day, and when we heard one was finally being made we were mind blown. so before you say console can't do it,
you might be surprised in the future.
