Lego LotR vs SWIII

I would go with the Lego Lord of the Rings. You get to play through all 3 films, and it just plays amazingly. And in March there will be a Lego Hobbit game that will follow the first two Hobbit films with a dlc expansion for the 3rd Hobbit film.

1. Is this game you're playing on a disc or was it downloaded to your console from the marketplace?
   
2. Did this game have a recent update that you downloaded?
3. Were you able to get past the level and progress in the game after the black screen happened?
   

I did a bit of research about what you explained you were experiencing and other users seem to be experiencing the same thing. What they had tried was:

• Delete the most recent game update.
• Finish the level on the game.
• This wasn't added in their steps, but I would suggest downloading the most recent game update after you finish the level and progress through the game.
  

I also suggest trying these steps in the meantime:

• Clear your cache three times.
  
• Restart your console.
• Try playing the game again.

I fixed it a few days ago. I have been playing it offline cause of the title update keeps freezing my game and turning the screen black. I uninstalled the title update. they need to fix the update. I did by it on disc. also I did what most of the things
you said but I will not be redownloading the title update till its fixed. I also talked to warner brothers interactive entertainment. also playing though the level and then redownloading the update does not work cause you have to go back multiple times to
that level.

I see you mentioned you contacted Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Did they happen to say anything in regards to the update issue?

 

Has there been a solution found for this yet? I'm having the same problem, even after following diggz's suggestions and trying the same thing walnut did.

 

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment told me to delete the title update. so I did that and after I deleted it. I went back to the game it asked me to download the title update and I canceled it then disconnected my wireless adapter then went back to playing
the game with no problems
