    I had the exact same issue. I contacted Microsoft and they've been trying to help me for days. I just got an email that said it can't be fixed from their end and to try to contact TT Games. He gave me this link -
    www.ttgames.com/contact.php

    He said he was sorry for the trouble and gave me 800 ms points for my time.

    I contacted TT Games and haven't heard from them yet.

    I am having the same trouble. Xbox told me that the codes don't work to contact the retailer I bought it from. I did and they said they can't do nothing about it. I am glad to see I'm not the only one frustrated by this issue. Hopefully their will be some
    kind of fix to this issue.

    same issue for me but I got my copy from Amazon UK, Amazon are trying to resolve butI don't think it's a problem with the codes as I tried to enter one incorrectly on purpose and got a message saying to 'try the code again' which would indicate the code
    is wrond whereas we are all getting the 'Sorry, something went wrong' error, which looks like an MS issue rather than a retailer of developer issue. This isn't the first codes I've had problems with on XBox One.

    Come on Microsoft, take some responsibility here!!

    This just isn't right at all. Buy a game, DLC doesn't work... we need some answers. It feels like MS are the problem as BalrogBoy said above. Wouldn't be the first time they have tried to hide problems under a rock.

    This is the email I received from the escalation department. Basically saying we know there is a problem but we don't want to do anything to fix it. Since this will fix itself with no effort on their part, they will not do anything. Typical Microsoft.

    When looking into this more, I was able to confirm that your codes are valid. However, the codes are not available at this time to be redeemed until 5/13/2014. I suggest holding the codes for a couple more weeks and then redeeming them to your account.

    FIXED! Yesterday received email from MS for something free that had a download code. It wouldn't accept it until I changed my REGION (to UK). Bear in mind I have NEVER had to change this before, always been in UK, so they must have done something in this
    area. Anyway, making sure I had my region set to UK and now the Hobbit DLC code works. Might be coincidence, but at least mine is ok now.

    I would go with the Lego Lord of the Rings. You get to play through all 3 films, and it just plays amazingly. And in March there will be a Lego Hobbit game that will follow the first two Hobbit films with a dlc expansion for the 3rd Hobbit film.

    yeah opsman2169 i wouldnt hold your breathe, from what ive seen on this forum, this is where problems go to die quietly. wierd thing i noticed the sticker on the game from walmart says must redeem by 2019? not sure why it says 5 years from now.
