LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens loads but doesn't play

The game loads, when trying to continue, start new game or load a game the game seems to start, there is no picture but sound in the background. There has been a message saying that the server was unavailable to load games. I tried to start a new game and
the same thing happened.

Has anyone been playing lego star wars the force awakens on xbox 360? Does Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens Season Pass have General Grievous, Battle Droids, Super Droids, Kit Fisto and lots of other characters from episode 1, 2 and 3?

Lego Stars Wars - Force Awakens

Recore

Star Wars Battlefront

But nothing was tracked and I'm still at 0%. It's also hasn't counted the achievements I've gotten in Lego Star wars.

I am also having this same problem

 

I have the same issue. It is saying that it can not reach the lego marvel avengers server. I can get it to work if I disconnect the network cable from my xbox before I start the game.

 

I'm also having the same issue. Get the message 'cannot connect to Star Wars The Force Awakens Server' then screen goes blank but can hear music in the background

 

Just to make sure we cover the basic steps, can you try power cycling the console and see if that helps?

two days this happens to me , I turn on and off and nothing , the problem must be in lego server? How to solve this? I'm in Brazil and nothing too.

 

It might also be helpful to fill in this on WB's (publisher's) website:

Under Question Type select 'Technical' and specific question is "Can't connect to game" and hopefully the reports will help them identify an issue.

 

my xbox 360 is not no good , I think it's lego server that is preblem .

 

Tried as you suggested, made no difference. The only way I could get it to work was to go offline first and then start game

Anyone got a solution to this problem? Same thing happens with Lego Batman 3..

 

Pleased I found this thread as my kids just asked me about this. I've removed their local saves (not deleted from Xbox servers so I didn't delete their progress) and also removed all the DLC (we have the season pass). We get the "connect to Star Wars The
Force Awakens Server" then upon loading an existing save or starting a new game it just ends up on a blank screen (with music playing in the background).

I also tried signing into the console as myself and got the same experience. This is happening on both of our consoles one which has a wired connection and another that is only connected over WiFi.

Question for others experiencing this, are you in the Preview Program (both of our consoles are)?
