Lego star wars the complete saga

I have an Xbox one. I recently bought the lego star wars tcs (Xbox 360 version). My boyfriend and I played through the entire first episode. We waited until the death star image went away and we were brought back to the cantina before we exited the game.
The next day we get back in the game and it saved none of our progress. We go back to our Xbox homepage and check our cloud account. The "data" is in there saying that we played for 20 minutes and got so far, the game on the other hand just says we played
for 20 minutes with 0.0% progress. Is anyone else experiencing this? What do we do to prevent this happening in the future? Noone over wrote anything. No one deleted anything. And no one shut off before it was done saving. The only explanation me and my boyfriend
can come to is that it is a glitch in the Xbox backward compatibility system.

Hi, me by accident purchased LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga and could I get an refund?

 

I bought this game for my son and I to play on Xbox one with the backwards compatibility but when we load it up it disconnects us from Xbox live (or says it does) but we are still logged in to Xbox live on the one console. So we can't save or load anything
and anything we do will be reset each time we play.

 

I'm having the same problem Trojan and it's starting to make me mad. Anybody know why it disconnects us from xbox live when I start up the game?

 

Well I don't know about it not saving if you use the same profile as always, but I've been playing it as well via backward compatibility and I have been using another profile then my default one to get the Achievements again. What often happens is I turn
on the Xbox I'm logged on with my default profile, so I often enter the game and then go out and switch profile, but it seems when I've already entered the game menu it has some problems recognizing the profile switch so there occurs some issue with the cloud
save file. I have to quit the game and restart it while already logged on with the profile my save is at for it to work, or already be logged on with this profile when I start the game.

Don't know if this helped for anyone..

 

when you launch the game it should be a screen where it says retriving xbox 360 information so the game will load the profile information, but if it doesn't try to reset the console
