Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga crashing on startup

Hello,

After trying several options, i can't get Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to work with Xbox Game Pass for PC.

So far i've tried:

-Repairing and Reinstalling the game

-Reinstall the Xbox App and Gaming Services

-Disable Anti-Virus and Firewall

-Using different Nvidia drivers, older and most recent

-Making sure all the Windows updates are installed

-Installing the game on fresh install of Windows 10, with nothing else on it

The result is always the same:

Game splash screen comes on, followed by a black screen for a few seconds, and then back to the desktop

Crash events logged on Windows Event Viewer

I can play Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on Steam platform, on this same computer.

After it failed to play on Game Pass, i bought it on Steam and tried it. Worked flawlessly!

For the record, here is my system setup:

-Intel i7-920 CPU

-Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB

-Asus P6T SE Motherboard

-12GB RAM

-27in display with a 2560x1440 resolution

Is there a solution for my problem?

Hello,

I had already tried a new windows install, and with a different user. The result was the same.

As asked, i have submitted this problem through the Xbox App on December 16th with the title:

"Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga crashing on startup"

You will find folders for all your crashes with the crash info in xml format

I have exactly the same problem as you.

Only the system specs are different, but the symptoms are exactly the same.

It might be something like that, but still in this case, don't make sense, because if some app in conflity with the game, the Microsoft/TT Games needs to fix it, what isn't.
They already said that find a bug with the game and the platform, but we don't receive any feedback after that.

AS I WROTE EARLYER, THE GAME WAS LAUNCHING ON AN OLDER LAPTOP WHERE I HAVE VERY LITTLE PROGRAMS. I BEGAN TO

WONDER IF I HAVE ANY PROGRAM

INSTALLED THAT WOULDN'T ALLOW

THE GAME TO START CORRECTLY.

What Do U think about It?
