Lego Marvel save problem.

I picked this up earlier in the week as a stop gap til Watch_Dogs comes out and it's a typically fun Lego game. I played it until the 4th level, saving it at every opportunity, then I swapped discs and played another game. When I went back to Lego it had
reset my save back to halfway through level 1 which by all accounts is an inconvenience. --- I decided on solely playing Lego until it was complete hoping the quick start function would save me from seeing the load up screens! All was well until today when
I turned on my One and started Lego but instead of quick starting from where I left it, the beginning of the Asgard level, it loads up the game and the only save I had was 1.2% progress - halfway through level 2. Well, an inconvenience became me turning into
a mighty peed off irritable Hulk! What a joke, I was willing to only play this game and not use any apps til it was done too. --- Has anyone else suffered this? If so, is there any way around it? I like the game a lot and there's an awful to do but I can't
play a game in fear of losing hours worth of progress. Maybe I'm just really unlucky!

We've also lost all traces of game save data for Terraria and Lego Marvel.

 

BF4 quits and goes straight to Xbox home

Keeps happening to me with Lego Marvel Superheroes. I'm just glad it auto-saves whenever I do anything worthwhile.

I don't know if its the same thing but I noticed on LEGO Hobbit it asked me what save to sync with and gave me 2 options. I am guessing that is due to me being disconnected from the net for a small while the other night. As for Marvel, I had very little
problem with it.

 

If you can get to the Shield Helicarrier there are areas that allow you to re-play missions.

Go there and in a worst case scenario replay your last mission. Beats replaying the entire game.

 

My son lost his entire game save after almost completing the game !!! Lots of tears and back to square one im afraid !!!

 

I have a friend who lost all of her save on this quite near the end so it would seemthere is definately a problem

 

Cheers for the replies. I googled the problem and it seem to be an issue predominantly with the One. I'm gonna give it one more go but instead of 'saving and continuing' I'm going to 'save and quit'. Then I'll restart and if I've lost any progress then I'm
done with the game. Shame really because a great half hour blast game.

 

mine problem is that i saved my lego game at 10:00 pm and when i try to load the game, it showed i have saved it at 2:00 pm. Both my lego games got this issue on xbox one

 

You guys have scared me about playing it lol. I have a split second fear that when I load my game up, I am going to be looking at a fresh start :/ is there a choice to save this game locally rather than cloud?

 

I haven't noticed a choice Cloud, but I haven't noticed an option do do so on any game! I played between a checkpoint earlier and 'saved and exited'. I instantly restarted my game and it was at my last save point so I guess that's the way forward. A tad
inconvenient but it's better than nothing.

 

Have you looked for another save? I thought i lost progress but it turns out it just loaded an old save. Thats what happened to me! I would hate to lose my save i only have 6 gold bricks left to get for 100%

 

Ah I see. I don't know if its offline play and then online play that might give you the option. I am just guessing again here but when I play offline on LEGO and then play online, it syncs the saves and on 2 occasions it offered me to select a save to play
from. One locally (I think) and one from the Cloud. One was earlier then the other. Glad its working for you at the moment though

 

When it saves it saves on your hard drive & on the Cloud at the same time.It can't do this if you are offline so you have 2 different saves when you go back online which is why it ask's you which save you want to use.
