Lego Marvel crashes when vehicles accessed

Whenever the vehicle tab is selected from a hub, whether in the city or on the carrier the game immediately shuts down. The recommended fixes have no effect - I have cleared my cache, unnistalled and reinstalled the game multiple times and even deleted all
of my saves and started over but the issues persists.

Games randomly crash and return to dashboard

Mine does it with Lego Marvel. Every 30 minutes or so crashes to the dashboard

They are all that I can think of at the moment.

 

We began experiencing this with the June Xbox update as well... the July one didn't fix it either. Looking at the various threads on the forums... the only answer for now until TT and/or Microsoft admits/fixes this is to uninstall any Lego Marvel DLC's.
Just did that and it fixed the problem...my kids are happy again.. though they miss the DLC's. Sucks that we can't use the purchased DLC's anymore... but I'll reinstall them once an official patch for this is issued.. though I'm not holding out much hope
since TT and Microsoft have not officially responded/admitted this months old issue.

 

I'm having the same problem with the vehicle tab. I try to select a vehicle and it crashes. Have tried uninstalling, holding the power button down, yadda yadda...

Not being able to use DLC purchases is not a solution or even a work-around in my book. It's completely stupid that they can't get a patch out after 5 months or longer of this being a known issue. How hard is to catch an error and not crash/seg fault/whatever.


I can't even play the game now with the update that installed today. I tried to uninstall it and it stops during installation now. This is completely ridiculous.

I want a refund.

 

I'm having the EXACT same issue right now. Guess I'll just wait for a patch to (maybe) come out..

 

Same problem here. I'm gonna try uninstalling the dlc, but it's really ridiculous that they just can't fix it.

 

WB Games finally got back to me......

First of all, I'm so sorry to hear that you cannot play the game due to an issue with the vehicles.

We are aware that some players experience freezes in-game when attempting to use vehicles and the developers are already working on a patch which will hopefully be released very soon. We're only waiting for the patch to pass submission, so it shouldn't take
too long until it's available.

Our sincere apologies for this, we know how frustrating this situation must be, but rest assured that we're working on a fix and seek to deliver it soon!

 

Confirming that un-installing the DLC fixes the crash to home when selecting a vehicle in game.

 

This same bug also affects harry potter years 5 to 7

 

The game will crash on startup unless you uninstall the dlc
