Lego Hobbit is stuck in the wrong language

One of my kids managed to start Lego Hobbit in the wrong language and now it's stuck in what appears to be Danish. I have checked the language settings for my profile and it is set to English. When you start the game for the first time it gives you an
option to select language (we chose U.S. English for the first time playing) but somehow it has been changed and I can find no settings to fix it.

Any ideas?

Have you tried uninstalling the game from the console? That will clean LocalFolder's contents and hopefully give you a fresh start after the reinstall.

This appears to be a bug that LEGO needs to patch (or rethink the process of the way it sets language settings).

 

Thanks for the correct answer. I did that a couple of nights ago and it allowed me to reset language settings. It wasn't obvious how to uninstall/reinstall but it did work.

 

Hi, So this happened to me when my 4 year old started the game in Danish. I was so desperate I was using Google Translate to manually type in Danish words from the screen hoping I could figure something out. Nothing worked...

Then, finally, found that if you are in the XBOX Home Screen and press the option button on the controller you can "Quit" the game. I did that and when I restarted the game I was allowed to select the language from the first screen that came up.
