Lego Dimensions Toy Pad

Hi guys n gals.

I have recently bought Lego Dimensions plus a few add on packs and all was working great but suddenly after only a couple of days the game asks me to connect the toy pad, it is already connected via USB to the side port but still the message persists. I
contacted Warner Brothers who (Awesome fast service I may add) supplied a new pad but this is not working either. I have connected my controller charging cable via the same USB port and that seems to work fine. Does anybody have any suggestions.

Xbox One S, Lego Dimensions Toypad?

Hey there, Chris!

I'm sorry to see any issues with the new console and the LEGO Dimensions Toy pad! I wouldn't count the Xbox as the issue just yet. Have you been able to test the toy pad on another console? This will help determine if it's the toy pad or the console. If
you don't have another console, you may be able to bring the toy pad to a local game store to see if they will let you test it on one of their consoles, or maybe to a Microsoft Store.

That would be the extent of troubleshooting we could do, since this is a third party device. Hopefully LEGO/WB Games has more answers for you, but you may want to consider returning the starter kit to the retailer you purchased it from for a replacement.

Any Adult Xbox One gamers buying Lego Dimensions

Was thinking about buy Lego Dimensions but it says 7 - 14 on the box.

Is any adults planning to buy Lego Dimensions this weekend?

Have you tried to plug the Toy Pad into another USB port on the console? To clarify, is this for Xbox 360 or Xbox One?

Are you sure that the Starter Kit is for the console you actually own (i.e. if you have the Xbox One console, that the Dimensions Portal is actually for the Xbox One, and not the Xbox 360, as 360 hardware doesn't work on the Xbox One and vice versa)?

If it is indeed the correct hardware, you should return it to the store to have it exchanged. If necessary have the person that gifted it exchange it.

Contact the person who made the gift and ask them to deal with the retailer from where the purchase was made.
