Legit Xbox controller light illumination

Hello I just bought a controller from Lazada

based on the picture the white one is original how about the black one? Based on the illumination of light I think its not legit since the black one is not solid. Is this a basis to tag this as fake?

the chrome xbox button controllers did have an issue with the led lights sometimes, it most likely is legit but as they are used and very old then the led is just probably dimming, as its one led that shines through a plastic diffuser

Controllers can sometimes change with new variations of a console so it's entirely possible both are genuine.

I found this information on another site:

"The best way to tell is to check if it has a holographic Microsoft sticker on it. All genuine Microsoft products have this quality

In addition, you must remember that Microsoft has changed the design of their controllers over time, and therefore the one that you have may be different from the one your friend has. Wikipedia is helpful in identifying which controller you and your friend have.
The "Microsoft" logo on the top of the controller should have a split "o" and connected "ft"
Check the weight of the controller with another controller you are sure is real."

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having issues with pressing the Home Button on your Xbox One Wireless controller. Are you talking about the Guide button? (Illuminated white Xbox logo) Is the light
on? I recommend you try connecting the controller directly to the console using a Micro USB cable (Android type charger cord). Let us know with a reply if that helps?

To reset to default:

Remove any discs from the disc tray.

Turn off the console.

Turn on the console.

Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn on the console by using the Guide button on the controller. Make sure that you use the player 1 controller when you do this. The player 1 controller will have the upper-left light illuminated.

As the console starts, on the controller, press and hold Y while pulling the right trigger. The display settings are reset to the default settings, and then the console automatically restarts.
