Legendas no "Filmes e TV" (Subtitles in "Movies & TV")

Olá, eu sempre usei o One para assistir filmes e series e sempre usei o app Filmes e TV. O app sempre funcionou perfeitamente, tanto com vídeo e legenda.

Só que de repente, as legendas começaram a apresentar problemas, em específicos em símbolos.

Isso aparece tanto no Filmes e TV como no Media Player. Porém se eu usar o VLC as legendas são reproduzidas sem erros algum mas esse app é muito instável e da erro direto.

Alguém sabe como que eu posso resolver isso?

Hello, I've always used the One to watch movies and series and I've always used the movies & TV app. The app has always worked perfectly, both with video and subtitle.

Hi Marco,

Thank you for coming to the forums. It seems that subtitles in the Movies and TV app along with videos ran through the Media player are not displaying properly with symbols. This could just be a regional issue getting the data for those subtitles but I suggest
doing some basic console troubleshooting to make sure it's not a software issue.

Go ahead and do a
hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox.

If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a
soft factory reset.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have your account login information plus your WIFI password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add the account's that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your network during the reset.

Try out those two steps and let us know the results!

Not ALL of the TV shows have subtitles, so I've noticed. Same with movies. The one French movie in the game has subtitles, of course.

Seems like not all movies or shows have captions included. Some of them depends on certain developers. Same goes with games.

Yet another movie without captions is The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. The other two LotR movies have captions so why not this one? Is there a technical issue? Or did they just not get around to it? I truly just don't understand where the work
begins and ends. Hopefully they get around to it at some point. A lot of these fantasy movies have words unique to their universe and I want to know exactly what it is they are saying as to not remain ignorant and as I mentioned before there are more than
likely people with hearing issues who cannot watch these movies at all. These are sales you could be missing out on, Microsoft!

I agree but this is a studio decision, if the title has captions Xbox supports it. Sorry, we have a long way to go with accessibility on digital.
