Legendary Ship Achievment

I defeated all legendary ships, but the achieve never popped. Anyone else have this issue before? I haven't used any cheats or anything like that, tried reloading the game, etc and still nothing. Rather disappointed.

I got the achievement after defeating the 3 solo ships and one of the two Man o' Wars, I was completely surprised when it popped up.

It should have popped after you defeated the last. If you defeated all four then I don't know. That's odd.

 

Yep, your not alone. Happened to me too. The Cheevo will still pop with cheats, so I'm going through the game till I get the cheat where I don't die and then killing those ships and if it glitches out again, no big deal cuz it won't save!

 

Thanks for the idea. I've been dreading the idea of having to restart just to get this done.

 

It's taking awhile to get the cheat. I have to get 70 abstergo challenges. Not sure if it's faster then upgrading the jackdaw but it's probably not so monotonous and just attacking and plundering ships for cargo

 

Got it! I got to sequence 6-1 where you get the diving bell, got 70 abstergo challenges, activated god mode, killed the legendary ships, and the Cheevo popped

 

The cheevo popped for me but only after I played the game with the internet disconnected for 30 minutes. Once I reconnected it, the achievement came through. If that's any help? On the subject of this specific achievement, am I the only one that found the
legendary ship (I forget the exact name) that only takes damage at the back, to be the hardest one? I had to fully upgrade my ship to stand a chance. lol.

 

Some of the achievement in this game have been glitchy, the fortress one popped up after 20 minutes when I was attempting to destroy the legendary ships.
