Legendary and exotic gear

Hey I'm a level 24 hunter with only rare gear. I'm looking for a way to get better stuff. I have tried loot farming and going to them random guys in tower but it seems to be taking forever. can someone give some advice? gamertag: pridedhippo I'm a

achievements for destiny not unlocking

example not getting trophy when equipping exotic gear or when fully upgrading legendary

ADD ME Gamer tag : .... i play destiny daily..... i have a lvl 31 warlock all legendary and exotic weponds and gear.

 

Tiger strike usually gives me legendary items, also completing bounties gives you a chance to receive a bounty to get an exotic weapon. Also when doing tiger strikes you receive 6 vanguard marks when you save enough you can buy equipment.

 

Yeah I do tiger strike everyday and it will look like I'm getting a legendary and then I'll take it to tie cryptark and it end up being a mote of light. Like anyone needs more of those

same problems i have 6 legendary items now though not for my class...

 

Yeah I don't get that unless you can transfer them to your other characters. I don't know if you can do that though

 

Thats what most of the people I raid with do, we all have more than one character and leave all good weapons in the vault depending on what we are about to do and just swap out.

 

You can buy legendary from the table with the class individual.

 

Look I will let you guys in on some info. You can buy some exotic stuff from the guy who shows up on the weekends with strange coins and if you don't know what strange coins are then youtube it. Also I have learned that if you complete at least 10 bounties
a day on the completion of the 30th bounty you will get to pick one of three exotic bounties. But let me warn you the exotic bounties are relentless. Other than that you need to just go out and either constantly farm planets chests and kill randoms or do
story modes on at least low hard setting and collect as many decoding cubes as possible. Then go to the vanguard and decode them, the higher level you are the better stuff you will get. Exotics are nothing but legendary gear with fancy colors and stuff so
I would just stick to legendary unless you have at least 8 hours of game play a day to invest.

 

Other than what I mentioned you have to rank up in either vanguard, crucible, dead orbit, or future war cult, to 2 or lvl 3 for some and then buy legendary gear. I have a mixture of both purchased and stuff I have found. I would stick to buying your legendary
armor cause I rarely get any good armor on missions or farming, and picking up legendary weapons as I have not had to purchase any of my legendary or exotic weapons I have found them or earned them through exotic bounties.
