Legal issue with Forza 3 DLC "VIP pack"?

would be great if Support can have a look at the following situation...since you can buy a product in the US, UK, Germany with a feature that is advertised on the product cover but doesn't work.

Reason:

-> You can buy a product in the US, UK, Germany...
with a feature that is advertised on the product cover but doesn't work.

This problem applies to people who:

• bought (or will buy) the Forza 3 Ultimate Edition including VIP pack download code and
  
• who didn't download VIP pack before August 2013 (you can still download it via download history if it was downloaded before August 2013)

Forza Horizon 3 - DLC content for all Xbox users / profiles / family members ?

Here http://www.windowscentral.com/forza-horizon-3-vip-review I found this:

"A big improvement over Forza Horizon 2's VIP Pass is that buying VIP Membership in Horizon 3 grants VIP access to other Gamertags on the purchaser's home console. That way, the whole family can benefit from a single VIP purchase."

But any other source is telling that this does not works.

 

Questions before purchase regarding VIP and CarPass.

the vip free cars are only for the gt that purchased it. all other gt will have access to the vip cars to purchase with in game cr or tokens. just like with forza 5...

the home console option will prevent you from sharing dlc content across gt's and consoles.

i have this same issue with me and my son's 2 consoles.

 

The VIP Pack can be seen in the pictures at the bottom center as "Top Gear" meaning VIP pack Stigs Garage and Cars...

 

You're absolutely right, it is a legal issue but it's with the developer losing licensing rights to that material and as such it is not being allowed for sale anymore over the Xbox Store. It's asinine to believe Microsoft is going to recall every copy
of a 4+ year old game to reprint the covers and put it back out at retail due to an expired token which most likely has an expiration date printed on it.

 

Ah OK so Turn 10 doesn't have the Top Gear license for Forza 3 VIP Pack and therefore it's removed from the store?

Yes you're right recalling would be a bad idea since it's still a great game.
