    Legacy Servers (Xbox 360)


    I am currently wondering if Microsoft will fix the bugs on the Xbox Live Servers for Xbox 360 such as

    1. Not being able to join open parties

    2. Not being able to send a message without an error message

    3. Not being able to view parties aside from your own

    4. Not being able to make any purchases on a credit card or a prepaid credit card

    5. Getting disconnected from Xbox Live even if you have a strong wired Connection.

    6. Servers having bad performance in general

    I feel as if I have a legitimate concern as to what is going on with the Xbox 360 servers and I would like to know why they are so slow, unresponsive and have so many bugs including the bugs stated above? If Microsoft has either dealt with this issue or
    they are no longer providing maintenance for their servers I would love a response, I am an Xbox One and an Xbox 360 Elite owner but I am speaking on behalf of the people who still use Xbox 360 and to be honest I kind of miss the old Xbox 360 servers and the
    way they used to be.

    What was the update for 14th feb ?

    Got it on Valentine Day on my legacy Xbox 360. No noticeable differences ...

    EA thinks next-gen consoles won't be backwards compatible

    Gauntlet Dark Legacy is another example. Cant be played on the 360. I loved that game on the xbox and would love to play it on the 360. Cant. I can play Seven Sorrows but that game sucks compared to Dark Legacy.

    Tiger Woods 2014 rain but no wind

    Well, I was right, EA shut down the servers to Tiger Woods 14 saying that it was a legacy game. They also said we COULD have downloaded this game onto an XBox One, but we were never notified this was an option, nor were we notified the servers for this
    game were being disabled. I’m sure this is to push people off the XBox 360 platform and onto the One.

    Xbox live 1.0 shutdown

    It takes a lot of resources to keep legacy servers up. The good news is there are lots of OG xbox games playable on xbox one, and private people have set up servers to run some of the more obscure stuff.
