left thumb stick on xbox controller will not invert even when I select Legacy and check invert

I believe you can also set this within the Controller App for button mapping. It might be worth setting the game to default and trying to make the change in the Xbox controller button mapping app?

You should be able to manually change the Xbox over to inverted mode by going to (from the Dashboard) Settings --> Profile --> Game Defaults --> Action --> and then set Y axis to Inverted. This will become the default view controls for all games, when using
the right thumb stick.

Most games have an inverted mode in the options and controller scheme settings though I assume you already checked there in game

Let me know if that works. (but it may also change left stick too, so just be warned)

The first place to check would be your controller settings on Fortnite. Check to make sure the controls are not inverted.

A second place to check would be your device and accessories settings. Check the Invert Right/Left stick Y axis to make sure they are not inverted.

default is inverted. the right stick controls roll and pitch. left stick controls the rudder

If this is happening everywhere and not just with Fifa 19 I would check the Xbox Accessories app on the console as it has a couple of options in the app that can invert the X and Y axis on the controller left stick.
