    Left thumb stick drift


    After researching this for several weeks and trying all the suggested XBOX ONE CS tips to include ensuring the controllers are update to date firmware wise this morning I still have an upwards drift one both of my xbox controllers. The day one remote and
    the extra purchased at a later date.

    Has there really been no fix for this even months after after it was first reported that is crazy...!

    Why would there not be an area in the system where controllers are "zeroed" to resting levels correcting this issue? Even the Wii sets the controllers to a resting level before gameplay. How many customers would be happy with this ability to fix drift in
    their controllers?

    Please tell me what I can do to get this controller drift fixed..! even on the XBOX ONE home screen the second you take your thumb off the stick it goes to the top of the screen. It drifts up to the top in every game and in every menu as soon as you release
    it.

    Xbox One Controller, left stick faulting!!!

    I have two controllers BOTH with drift issues. The one left thumb-stick drifts upwards and the other one has a right thumb-stick drift issue that drifts upward.

    Like what the heck am I suppose to do. #SMH

    Controller: Right stick drift

    I don't think that your controller is dirty. Perhaps you play games where you click the thumb stick in.

    For me BF4 have caused a drift on the left thumb stick. Perhaps a better controller will be made in the future...<insert sad face> as I went ahead and purchased a new controller.

    The one with the drift is offered as a last resort to company.

    Hi O7MCOUPE,

    If you've updated the firmware on the controllers, and you're still having this problem then it's likely a bad controller unfortunately.

    Make sure that you have also tried the following steps below:

    • Make sure that your controller has fresh batteries and that your controller is updated.
    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
    • Power on your console and check to see if the issue is continuing.
    You can try to submit a repair on the controller here, or alternatively you can
    contact support here and see if they can set one up for you. As you stated with this issue it's usually hardware related and as such there is no fix.

    Elite Wireless Controller Issue

    I would not recommend buying this controller to all owners and future or even potential buyers this controller still has thumb stick drifting. I bought this controller on launch day and now as I write this the left thumb stick is drifting with out contact.
