    Left Stick is broken: It hangs and you can't change direction.


    For the 12'th time since I bought my xbox one, a left stick of a controller broke. If you roll it around, you can hear it clicking. If you play and try to change direction, it hangs.

    What should I do? Last time I got a replacement by online chat support. But now, this chat support "is closed". How do I get support of Microsoft?

    Support closed? Should be the hours of service, check, chat is the best way, it resolves quickly and in the best way, if your control is under even better warranty.

    Hi Max,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Sorry for the issue with controller being broken. You can request a call from support by following this guide I created.

    When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:



    • Step 1 ----select Xbox One
    • Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
    • Step 3-----select show contact options

      Step 4 ----select request call from support

    Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

    I'm afraid your controller needs repair. If it is less than 90 days from the date of purchase, you can order a replacement controller.
