Left stick broken issue have they addressed the issue with the cheap piece of plastic breaking ...

I have had 5 controllers break playing NHL did they fix this issue ?

Quality issues with xbox one controller left analog stick

I am having a terrible time with the xbox one controllers. I will be purchasing my 3rd controller already due to something breaking in the left analog stick. I am an adult casual gamer and typically only play madden 3 to 4 hours a week. I am the only one
that uses the console and when I say that these controllers have never been thrown, dropped, or abused I say so with 100% certainty. In comparison to the 360 controllers, I only replaced one of my 360 controllers and that was for the lifecycle of the console.
There is something that is breaking in the left analog stick. I will notice a slight physical change to the way the stick moves and simultaneous start experiencing faulty control issues. In both cases, there has been the sound of loose pieces rattling around
in the controller as if something broke off and is rattling around. I have returned one for replacement...still waiting for the replacement. The second controller-instead of returning-in my curiosity I wanted to see what broke and I discovered a light grey
plastic part had in fact broke and was just floating around freely in the controller. My purpose of this post is not to bash or disparage the xbox one, but bring this quality/durability issue to peoples attention with the hopes that this will eventually get
addressed and fixed.

 

CONTROLLER ISSUES - NO HELP FROM MICROSOFT

@CrypticBoz - the issue of the failing analog sticks has been of public knowledge for nearly two years and they've not addressed it, in fact the Elite controllers which are being sold on the pitch that they are of superior durability and craftsmanship as
to extend its longevity when on the contrary they are actually of the same shoddy build as the original controllers as they sport the same plastic pieces on the analog module that fail as with the original controllers, this is what causes the analog sticks
to fail and to develop stick drift

Sorry to hear you run into these problems, One thing you can always do if the controllers if they are within the 90day warranty period would be to set up a repair through the

Self Service site.

Now the controllers definitely should not be breaking on you like this, But it could be because of how much you game. If you are more of a Hardcore gamer then it could be that you put the controllers through a lot. One thing you can always look into is an Xbox
Elite Controller as they are built sturdier and made for the Hardcore gamer.

They have not, but maybe you’re being to rough with them? I play almost every night since the launch in 2013 and have only had to replace one controller.
