Left speaker on ear buds blowing out when using controller adapter

Hello, I'm not sure if this a coincidence or what. I bought the controller adapter so I can use ear buds while I play, well about a week after using it the left speaker on my ear buds blew out. No big deal bought a new pair, but then a week later the left
speaker on those blew out. They were both about $25 so they're fairly good quality. Any ideas whats happening?

Xbox 360 only playing sound through 1 ear bud.

I hooked up my Xbox 360 to my PC monitor with a hdmi to dvi adapter. I am using a audio adapter for my audio but I only get the audio through 1 ear bud when I plug in my ear buds! HELP!!!

Questions about Apple Earbods for Voice Chat on the Xbox One

Hi there. You would need the adapter if your controller doesn't have a built in mic port on the bottom. The Apple ear buds are wired to different spots on the pin. You'll want to find a CTIA compatible headset, a OMTP to CTIA adapter.

@ OP, That's just kwazy! (with a k) Maybe you had the ear buds in backwards both times so maybe... just maybe... the right speakers blew out? j/k ...

Don't have a mixer or adapter, just a pair of Beats and ear buds with Mic, both used to work

For Video:

order a HDMI to DVI cable - www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-HDMI-Adapter-Cable-Feet/dp/B001TH7T2U/ref=sr_1_2

For Audio:

order a S/PDIF to 3.5mm - www.amazon.com/Optical-Female-Digital-Toslink-Adapter/dp/B000I97H68/ref=sr_1_18

there is a S/PDIF port on the back of the Xbox One so you can use that converter to be able to use speakers or ear buds
